Hustle - BBC1 9PM

Epic spoiler alert (especially if you are a veteran Hustle fan):

I thought it was absolutely brilliant... I had been hoping for Jaime and Marc to make a return, every series since they left. When Sean called Ash and said that Wasem had a lady with him, I was thinking 'Why mention that? He has a huge group of people with him', and then I started to hope and when I saw the reaction on Micky's and Ash's faces, I almost had an orgasm (and not just because Jaime Murray is THAT beautiful). Though I had guessed when it would happen, when the camera panned up and you saw the shooter's face, ':D' doesn't quite cover the look on my face. :D

Great episode, fantastic end to a really brilliant television show.

I've been watching Hustle since day 1, and im pretty sad its ended :(

It became one of my favourite TV shows. The last episode was fantastic, loved it. Although I agree that the old episodes were the best and it went a bit downhill, it was still always worth watching.

This really is an almighty thread necro but I think it's worth it. I've recently rewatched all of Hustle and I love it as much now as I did when it first aired. If anyone hasn't seen it, I can highly recommend it and the entire series is on iPlayer.

I think that it was one of Robert Vaughn's best TV roles and Robert Glenister was perfectly cast as Ash.

It did lose its way a bit in the middle when Adrian Lester (Mickey Bricks/Michael Stone) was absent for a series but it did pick up when he returned although it got somewhat far-fetched towards the end. I very much liked Kelly Adams as Emma but I thought that Sean was a poor replacement for Danny after he and Stacie 'stayed in America'. It was always worth watching and I enjoyed it up to the end. The final episode was a masterpiece and wrapped the series up perfectly, even including a nice Magnificent Seven nod to Albert.

10/10 from me.

It was one of my favourite shows and propelled me down a rabbit hole of heist related moves/games/shows.
I think my favourite episode was 'The Henderson Challenge' (season 3 I think) because of the various pieces they put together, looked fun to film too.

Fire up the Quattro was the latters chez-d'eouvre ?

But, similarly, have re-watched some Spooks from same era ... writing/acting/production isn't what it was.

A bump but these are all back on iPlayer at the moment (they'd been off for quite a while). The first three series are only SD but the last five are all 1080p. I'm sure they were only 720p before.
