Hustle

I really enjoyed both of the episodes, but I do concur... Noway as good as series one and two. :p I hate being able to guess the twists. :(

The female pales in comparison to Jaime Murray (Stacie)
And it just lacks something without the other cast members. Still miles better than most of the junk on the TV though.
Unfortunately after 5 series the wrtiters and whats left of the cast may have to end it if they don't want to ruin what was a great concept.

It's okay but how they do the cons have been obvious so far whereas in previous series they kept you guessing until the recap at the end of each episode.

The new bloke is shaping up to be a decent character but the female seems to be another Stacie even to the point of chemistry between her and Mickey.

It's only two episodes in so I'll keep watching the next few.

You know a program is going down hill when they start hiring ex-eastenders cast.

I lol'd.

@topic. Its not been too bad so far. I prefer brunettes to blondes though hehe

I thought the episode last night was very clever but this series really is lacking something.

I've just started watching this now. Haven't watched any of the other series. I liked the first Episode of this series, episode 2 kind of lacked something.

But still it's better to watch than any other rubbish on t.v.

The change of cast was inevitable - the last series, where Danny was a lead had poor syndication, which kind of makes sense, as although funny, this type of essex double glazing seller with London cabbie accent doesn't translate very well as likeable character cross borders, and it's not like you can put subtitles on for his lines on BBC America either. I agree with female lead tho - the new lady is very weak - however, with Jamie Murray getting older and trying to make a career for herself in US, (she had that awful, awful sitcom where she played goddess) I don't really see any actress in BBC portfolio that could play classy/clever/smart and pretty in one go.

This series is not too bad so far, they could do with a bit better filming continuity though. One scene in the first episode was supposed to be in Sydney Australia but its was in Dockland London and had a DLR train go by in the background. Call me picky but they could have filmed the scene after the train wnet past.

Haven't seen the new one so far, will try and have a catchup.

Happy birthday btw Begbie ;)

Cheers mate. :)

The chick in the old episodes was much hotter.

Tbh i didn't have a clue how they done it in ep 2 untill he pulled the crowbar out!

I take it this got moved to GD?

It's not bad continuity it's explained later, albeit very briefly, during Mickey's conversation with Albert.

There could be a reason though - Tony Jordan (creator and writer) wrote for Eastenders from about 1989 to 2006. Some seem to write for people they know (see Russell T Davies).
