I like it! Wouldnt be too mad on the colour but I do like the shape alright.
I too have decided to go retro(check my thread on page 2), I say we all go retro! Screw your type r's and your mondeos!

Yup.

To me, a classic car is an old car that was something new, something different, or something exceptional when it was out.

The original Mini, the E-Type Jag, classic Ferrari's, yes, the original Mk1 Golf GTI. No, not the Vauxhall Chevette.

This is why the Chevette will never be a classic. Its also why the Mondeo Mk2 will also never be a classic.

The Chevette is an old banger, not a classic. It might be a decent banger, but it's still a banger, just like most of the K reg Mondeo's, good though they are, are old bangers.

At least it's different and might get a few looks. Tell me the last time you looked at an old shape....no any shape mondeo? Dishes out 'advice' and drives one of the most bland cars around.

It's only different because all of the others have rusted away/gone to the scrapyard. In 20 years time a Mondeo will be different, not becuase it's suddenly even more awesome than it is now but becuase most of them will scrapped/crashed/whatever.

As for my car being bland - people like you are the reason they are so cheap so do keep it up

I'd get lots of looks if I walked down the highstreet stark naked with my pubic hair alight. However, its makes more sense not to.

Ditto with driving a Chevette.
