So, hybrid SSHDs - any good?

I've got a 128GB SSd for my system drive, but given that I play a couple of MMOs, which have a tendency to bloat, I don't want them on there too. I've considered getting a 256GB second SSD, but it's still fairly pricey for not much storage. So I've moved onto thinking about these as an application drive, leaving my SSd for system drive duties.
What are peoples' opinions?
