Hyper 212 am3 question.

I want to get a coolermaster hyper 212 for my x4 955 as the stock fan is annoying, but just want to check that on the AM3 socket it faces so the airflow is from front to back. As a lot of the am3 coolers I've looked at, seem to face so the airflow is top to bottom .

Manual makes it look like it does, but just want to check before I order one. So any one who has one, which way round does it go?

I have recently replaced my Phenom II x4 955 stock with a Cooler master hyper 212 Plus (this is a revised and supposedly newer version of the cooler, if you are thinking of buying this).

I can confirm my cooler and the older Hyper 212 will fit in an AM3 socket so airflow is from front to back, as seen in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sk9f21MmJA

Make sure your case is big enough to accommodate this cooler, especially if you have side case fans, which may need to be removed. Finally, it is best to have the motherboard out of the case with lots of space to install the cooler and replace the back plate.

Yeah, was the plus version I'm looking at. It'll fit the case with no problems, just wanted to check it could be fitted that way round .
