Hyper Light Drifter

Actually I just this second got it working...

Odd one tbh!

I opted into the beta just in case this was patched however I still had no control once at the main menu and in game. I read in the Discussions area that someone could click past the opening screens but the pad did not work in game.

For me this was the opposite. So I can click past the opening screens and the pad stays functional! Like I said odd, but hey ho all good now :)

Yeh loving this game already.

Reminded me of Bladerunner to start with of all things. I think the ambience and soundtrack are similar.

Very controllable, great fun and very accessible.

I was an original backer of this as I had fallen in love with the idea behind the game, and the graphics and feel of it. Seriously glad I did.

I'm not the best player of 'hardcore' games, and this can be quite unforgiving for me, but the atmosphere and aesthetics more than make up for that!

+1

I'm really liking HLD. The pixel art and soundtrack is absolutely amazing. You can tell a lot of love and care went it to developing this game.

Nice - might be time to visit this again :)

It's so good I bought a cushion!

Cool to see indie games like this :D

Just googled it as I've not really heard of it and found a interesting video about the developers & core designer

VICE spends time with developer Alx Preston, who has battled serious heart conditions all his life, but achieved his dream of producing an adventure game in the spirit of the classic Zelda titles.
