Hi guys, I was looking for some advice. I am currently running an Android XBMC box in the lounge + SkyHD, with a HP Proliant in the office serving Media.

I am thinking about killing a few birds with one stone, and hoping to make/buy a XBMC Machine, and also an emulator box running HyperSpin so me and the gf can enjoy some retro gaming. I would only need up to PS1/N64 level in terms of generations. And would mainly be playing Mega Drive/SNES

I have seen the Intel NUC's that look quite interesting. Rough budget around £200? Would these be powerful enough to run both?

Also I have some old DS3's from my PS3, would I be able to get these running on that machine?

Sorry for all the nooby questions, I am also going to do a PC build and will post another thread regarding that

Cheers
Chris

NUC should be fine.

Other option is an AMD APU build, might come in a bit more expensive but it's a bit more flexible.
