hyperthreading and bf3???

have you tried disabling SLI and just playing with 1 card, I would have thought the SLI configuration will be causing the stuttering not the hyperthreading.

tried disabling SLI mode? running it through just a single card? Just for test purposes ofcourse. I cant see the trouble being HT

^ and lol, That'll show me for taking ages to reply

BF3 Operation Metro VRAM usage:
1st base - 1.5GB
2nd base - 1.6GB
3rd base - 1.6-1.7GB
4th base up to 2GB

1920x1080 all maximum settings, Ultra (not in beta)

So you're actually at the minimum with regards to Vram for certain parts of the game. as SLI doesnt mean x 2 memory.

a lot of people with i7 920 type processors have had an issue with micro stuttering and BF3.

Disabling HT has been a temporary fix until dice implement a patch/fix

It certainly helped for me, the game runs so smoothly now

i7 920 @ 3.8ghz with a 570gtx

I've not noticed any issues on my i7 920 @ stock, using an ATI HD6950.

Try single player.

I've played single player, I dont have any problems with it.

I think a lot of the time its user error with these things, either not clearing out old drivers or asking too much of their system or something trivial like that.

I've had microstuttering on my i7 920 paired with a GTX 480. Horrible, had played for days with it... Turned off Hyperthreading in the bios and all is fine now. Read some article on HT, probably better to turn it off anyway.
