Hyperthreading & BF3

Hey guys,

So i read about Hyperthreading causing lag issues in BF3,But is this still an issue or have they now sorted it with patches/updates?

Ive always had my I7 860 @ 4Ghz,HT OFF and never experienced any issues in BF3...But as im getting a new motherboard soon, Was thinking about maybe overclocking to 3.6Ghz but this time enable HT.

Or should i just stick to 4 cores @ 4Ghz.

i had stuttering with HT on with my 2600k, but thats since been fixed with updates...

Ive not read up a lot on the issue,But was it only a problem on the Sandy bridge Cpus do you know?

Just thinking i have HT so why not use it.

no idea on that 1 tbh mate i know a lot of the peeps that were having issues were running 2600k's...

well yes and no, did a search for "is there suttering with battlefield 3 and hyperthreading" and found this http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/2832654489577573575/ some people have the issues some dont.

They released a patch a good while ago, before christmas I think.

Have had HT on ever since and its been running fine.
