HyperX Cloud II

agreed - why would you stock something that is over priced compared to many other places? Your clearly not going to sell them at the current price as they are £15/£20 cheaper elsewhere. Don't understand the logic.

I sell 4 or 5 a month at that price so keep in stock for those few sales, I only buy about 4 a month so it's no hassle for me to keep in stock.

I did email them them after seeing the post above, and asked if they are going to do anything (since we were getting labelled as expensive) and echoed the same sentiments as yourself. That was yesterday but I haven't received anything back from them yet.

They can only sell them at what they're getting them at, they're typically not going to sell them at a loss. It's either don't stock the headset or cut ties with HyperX, but if they're selling enough to make it worth their while at the price they are, then they'll sell what they can when they can.

We have two of these headsets and they've been great, probably the best headsets I've owned to date and yes I got them for (I think) £69 a few months ago.

Nice post Nik, thanks for the Info.

Good to see their is some common sense at OcUK ;)

Shame on the pricing as the former purple shirts have it for £64.99!

Quite why Hyper would shaft ocuk like this is beyond me! I get that you dont want to make a loss on current units but why allow yourself to purchase stock at cost levels meaning you simply can't compete? Bizarre indeed.

I'll hold off a cday or so to see if sense can be seen. If not, I'll buy elsewhere.

I returned a pair of these today to the retailer, in fact about 30 minutes ago! Left earphone stopped working after 9 months. It was an issue with the jack socket on the sound card part. I should get a new pair in replacement tomorrow. I am not convinced by the quality but it might have been bad luck.

I have just had that problem with my set I got from here in Nov 2015 from here for £40, only been using them for a couple of weeks since my original Cloud V1 died. Headphones work fine, but connection coming out of USB soundcard is faulty. I have put a post in OCUK customer service forum ref RMA procedure, but if it's an easy fix with kingston support thats good to know. Live chat not open at the weekend though.
