HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 16GB Black

So i just bought HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 16GB and just installed it.
But what i noticed was that i got the same MHz as my old ram that was 6GB! 532MHz! The weird thing is this my motherboard got support for 1333Mhz. So why does it not down clock to 1333 and why 532Mhz.
What should i do? And i could i overclock it to 1333Mhz?

Where are you looking at this speed? Bear in mind the RAM is DDR - Double data rate.

What memory options have you set in the BIOS? Are you using XMP?

I'm using CPU-Z and speccy when I'm checking the speed. I'm not on my computer right now so I can't check the setting right now, I'm pretty new to this but what do you mean with double data rate? Sorry :/ I don't think I'm using XPM.

What was the issue OP? Hyper X Fury are PnP sticks meaning it should have set itself to 1600MHz straight away.

Glad it's sorted anyway.
