Some people refer to this as Minecraft 2.0.

It has a modding community and even cross play with Minecraft through a mod.

I haven't played the game and am contemplating purchasing it, has anyone else tried yet?

Yes, thought this was worth a shot at £15. Very good! Well made and certainly a nice looking game. Only just started dabbling though. Plus their refund policy is solid: "If your purchase is made after the early access launch, you have 14 days after purchase and less than 4 hours of playtime to request a refund. " if it's not for you.

Bought it played for 90 mins saw potential but decided il come back to it later into development as im invested in other games right now.
Thought id request a refund , so far heard nothing back thats 10 days now.
Not a big deal personally as i will more than likely play again sometime but its bad form al the same, countless more on reddit not refunded yet either.
Its as if they dont have a support team and its just the devs themselves handling it?

it looks good but i guess i'm confused how this is called minecraft 2.0 when minecraft is on about 15.0 by now.

it looks very simliar, with the only difference i can really see is that the enemies look more impactful and have better presence, but no more than a good mod for minecraft may have already made.

worth a watch to see how it goes, but i don't see what draw there is yet over minecraft.

that quiet possible, if they are on tight budgets
seems like its been in development for 7-8years

interesting enough but i'll hold for now, i need to look a bit further into it before jumping in. youtube reviews ect

interested in how people are getting on and what people are doing with it

I was going to buy it yesterday but I am a bit hesitant, only because it annoys me buying things then not going back, Enshrouded, BL4, played a handful of times and never went back

How can a mod have cross play between two games? Maybe the world generation has been ported over so you can see your character in Minecraft.

But it looks interesting, will wait to see how it develops, maybe Epic will buy it and invest a billion in it to compete with Minecraft, but as it stands there is little guarantee it will develop much further without becoming massively popular.
