Hyundai N91W Widescreen owners

As iv said previously there is no ghosting what so ever, but its still not as good as a crt as it loses focus (no idea what the correct term is) when looking around in games etc

Are you using DVI or VGA? using DVI here and playing tomb raider legend as well as CS:S regularly and also NFSMW and see no ghosting or focus loss in anything at all.

using VGA also does it on the desktop if you drag a window round in circles you can see all the writing lossing its sharpness, kinda hard to explain....tried changing it to 60hz from 75hz but that makes it slightly worse. I cant really compare it do another unless i go to pc world or something to see if others do it.

Infact on closer inspection I guess you could call it ghosting  if you drag a window to the left or right it leaves a trail behind each letter.

Hmm the more I look at this the more I see.....the writing also seems to get more bold when draggin around.... may look into RMAing it.

So there is definatley no software remides to this...like turning on/off something?

You could try disabling/enabling cleartype in display properties (I prefer cleartype enabled though)

Strange thing is the text sharpness is only affected under windows, in every other setting (games/video etc) it's perfect.

ok cleartype is now enabled and I do like that more.....but its still the same. wish i had a camera to show you......just thought about the drivers on the cd...but no idea how to install them

Iv just bought a cheap DVI cable if that dosnt do anything then I will phone the Hyundai Tech support! to see what they say.

Out of interest, see if you concur it makes no difference to image quality to the vga one...

Ok Got the DVI cable in and to my untrained eye.....there is diddly squat difference while browsing or looking at pictures, its a shame you cant get the 2 outputs to display on the screen at the same time. I could hook up my crt but thats not a fair test.

This is a big ask but.....

Anyone with this monitor that has a camcorder...could you take a short vid close up to a moving window, im not 100% convinced the monitor is at fault and that maybe im just sensitive to this bluring problem.

I could have done but it's all boxed up now ready to return at lunch!

The Dell has come this morning at home, apparently the delivery man dropped the biggest of the 3 boxes which I assume is theTFT itself onto the ground by accident - I sure hope it's not damaged in any way because words will be exchanged

Purchased mine at lunch time today, hopefully it will turn up tomorrow :D

wonder how big of a difference this will be compared to my neovo F415
