Gotta be worth a shot mate - been eyeing up a trip to 'the street' myself lately.... may be down there myself on Friday, work permitting.

Good luck ;)

Maccy, you've been to PJ's Guitar shop yet (in Portsmouth?)

Quite a selection there with your budget, you can always try and talk down the price e.t.c. too :)

Voltar - need a budget and an application for the amp really...

1 - Will you be gigging it?
2 - Are you after a practice only amp?
3 - If gigging, are you able/willing to cart around a head/cab
4 - Would a combo be preferable?
5 - Do you want to be able to record direct from amp to you PC/MAC?

Go down towards Highland Road from Albert Road (Summerfield End). It's a big stall in the middle of Highland Road, on the left. Give there a visit http://www.guitaruk.com/

And if you drive, there's also Nervada Music at Farlington Business Centre (IIRC, off Eastern Road Roundabout) - that place is much bigger and the amount of guitars on display makes cry... http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/

Went to Denmark Street yesterday and came back with an RG320DXFM. It's beautiful!
Just got back to uni so will get a pic up when I've completely unpacked!

Missed my post didn't ya :p

Bought the RG320DXFM! Had a look at that ESP, it played nicely but I preferred the Ibanez.
