I am going to win the Lotto tonight!

I put 2 lines on every Saturday for normal Lotto. Been doing it for the past 6 years - that's £620-odd quid. I've won about £50-60 (3 numbers, 5 or 6 times), so by my reckoning that's about £550+ that National Lotto owe me...

Just waiting for my 6 numbers to turn up, and when they do, I pray to god I don't have to share it with 20 other people and end up winning £200 from 6 numbers.
 
I don't understand playing Lotto online - you can only select 6 numbers when there are 7.
Can anyone explain the reason for this?

7 numbers? There was a programme about the lottery on years ago. Even though any six numbers have an equal chance of winning, they said about 4000 people (can't remember the exact figure but it was 4 digits) play 1,2,3,4,5,6 every week so if they ever got drawn then the total prize for each person wouldn't be much.
