You bought a BMW but feel hard done by ?

You're perfectly suited to the vehicle you have purchased.

I had a similar thing with my 335i - they told me it was one private owner from new (I specifically asked as it had a Y prefix plate which indicates it was potentially a hire car/BMW uk car or similar) and had already sent the V5 away when I went to collect the car. It came through a few weeks later and it was an ex-fleet car. Not the end of the world but very irritating all the same.

I presume yours is a Y prefix registration too?

The good news is that the way hire firms operate will mean that there is nothing wrong with your car. They only run them for a very short period of time and to be honest renting a 3 Series from ERAC is so expensive that its unlikely it was driven by people who would be particularly abusive.

You my friend are a nob!!

A little unnecessary.

You could probably return it for a full refund as technically is was miss sold.

All depends on whether it's a sound buy or not really.

If they are prepared to discount and the car/history is sound, I would be inclined to go in all guns blazing and get a good discount, or some free servicing or whatever...

thanks at last a thoughtful answer, i suppose i would still like the car but do you think usb retrofit would be asking to much ar xenons? i read on internet and people state it worth 20" less on average,

Return it and go see those lovely people at CarGiant - they'll be your sort of "bredren" and understand you and your needs...

Probably...
