Just received my new DELL UltraSharp UP2716D

On opening, I thought I had purchased the wrong model as there was no DVI connection until I looked on OCUK to see most if not all new monitors do not have them. I guess I will have to order an adaptor as my GPU does not have a DisplayPort.

My question is if and when I upgrade my card what is the best connection the:

DVI (with adapter to DisplayPort) or
The DisplayPort direct

Or does it not matter.

Display port direct is definitely better

yes agreed display port allows 144hz and over its going up all the time
