I bust my mobo again -_-

I don't kill a PC a year, just either wreck a motherboard, or a cpu. Not my fault computers are so fragile. Won't see this kind of crap happening with an Xbox....

Forum Rules said:
No promotion of OcUK's competitors
We, Overclockers UK (OcUK) are happy to provide the resources of these forums to responsible individuals without charge. They cost a substantial amount of money to maintain and use considerable amounts of bandwith which is paid for exclusively by us. As you know OcUK are in the computer hardware business and therefore the promotion of OcUK's competitors is forbidden. Examples of promotion are :-
Posting links to competitors websites
Posting links to reviews that promote competitors
Quoting the names or contact details of competitors
Offering to provide the names or contact details of competitors
Hinting about product availability at competitors and their pricing
Using the forums to notify a member of intent or actual supply of names or contact details of competitors
Listing competitors names, URL's or e-mail addresses in signatures
Listing competitors names, URL's or e-mail addresses in profile
Posting links to or the mentioning of auction sites
Disguising attempts to do any of the above

In your posts above you mention many competitors and link to some of their sites. You can use the edit button on those posts to remove the offending item.

EDIT: Why does everyone repost the oppinion he's breaking stuff and you don't know how he managed it? It's been repeated enough that it doesn't add value to state it yet again.

Anyways, ScoobyDoo69 will be fixing my PC from now on, even if it means I have to drive to his workplace while he is working.
:O

This is a very good idea, just don't be tempted to touch anything on your motherboard as you're driving over to ScoobyDoo69's place. Remove all sharp instruments, tools, screwdrivers, etc from the car first. And if you have a sudden impulse to pull over and tweak something ... RESIST IT!

:)

Bad luck is written all over me. Had my driving test today. The good news? I didn't fail it. The bad news? I misjudged the time of my test, and missed it. Another 50 quid gone -_-
I'll remove the links right away Beard.

*edit*

By the way, i think it might be a good idea for the administrators/moderators to put the rules link as a sticky in every board. I tried looking for the rules before posting the rival links, but didn't think to check the FAQ :(

Didn't mean to be harsh but it's better if we're self regulating so less people get banned and the forums are easier for our kind hosts to manage.
