x1800 XT is faster than the 7900 GT im afraid.

Would need more than a 350w PSU as well if going for the x1800, as the x1800's require more power, and produce more heat.

Hardly, pretty much on par actually. The 7900GT is the better card though, not as noisy and uses less power than the X1800XT.

Before anyone says anything, I know it's over budget but I just though you should look at how much more you can get for only a £100 ish more. Makes it much more future proof and IMO better VFM.
