I fancy a bit of Halo2

Nah nobody owns or sucks at halo you just gotta know when to charge them and pull back, heck I've seen level 35's charge people thinking they're Immortal and just get screwed over so quickly.

All you really need to win is great team work doesn't matter how bad a shot you are if you got 4 guys who work great together but aren't a great shot and 4 other guys who refuse to work as a team but are good shots the team work team will win most of the time. In the CTF game it went on for like 45mins because we had a well balanced teams and we listened to each other and help each other etc. I hope you get what I mean cos I could go on and on and im sure you dont wanna read it:P

In the end red team came back from 2-1 to win it 2-3 but blue team would have done it if we didn't have a Warthog since they had our flag too but unfortunatly they were on foot so we got it back quicker :D .

Anyway we had some good games and when we gonna play again?

Don't let a low number of kills put you off all it takes is practice, its a great game once you know the best way to beat certain situations.

I'm gutted, I used to be so good, I was better than cadman last time I played.

I am so throwing in the practice now. I'm so embarrased by my performance :o

I bet it also had an adverce effect on my GRAW skills too :(

I got all the maps now so hopefully some match making will progress

I hope you all sent Cadman an FR, He is on Halo2 almost nightly.

Apologies Krono, i knew you sent me an invite...think i was in the middle of hitman..trying to complete that on the pro level. But sorry i couldnt join you for a game mainly because i dont have a copy of Halo2:p.

I might go into the local game shop here in the docklands on my lunch break and pick it up depending on how cheap it is.

If you can get it cheap it is well worth it, A completely different beast to GRAW. There seem to be quite a few of us still playing this game. (By still I mean I played it last night for the first time in about 5 months)
 
im fine playing again, aslong as you are ok with me being a bit carp, i believe one person on my team began shouting at me when i lost the flag, i wanted to game for a bit of fun

Was that me? if so sorry, sometimes I get a little competitive in Halo. I mean nothing by it.
I yell at Cadman a lot, usually because he does stupid things or says "Do not do XYZ" then proceeds to run in and do it himself. Or my personal favorite. "Lets try this!" then I start doing what ever he suggested whilst he buggers off and does something else.

Infact I think I had a 2 min tirade at him for being an absolute tit last night, he had to tell me to STFU. (I usually only have a go at the people I know should be doing better than they are)
 
Bah, wish I'd seen this thread last night, would have ben good to give you a beat down Krono. Glad to see you've got a HD now though, got the new GRAW stuff yet?
 
Well, im in a tennis match tonight, away.. and a little distance too, but they do have 3 courts so should be finished quicker than home matches... may not be back till... half 9ish.. but i will try and get on again.

I was the master and halo 1, would beat people while on my mobile phone.. although i was playing black and white 2 and halo 2 simultaineously last night :p still beat krono IIRC... :cool:

Yeah I got it all Sunday, You popped online I sent you about a zillion game invites to play the new maps, but you typically ignored them and then went off line. So in the proceeding days we have completed Coffee Plantation without you, We have completed Shipping Yard without you, played Halo2 without you, and had plenty of fun, without you.


BTW I suck bigstyle at Halo2 now, I think Callum could probably beat me down the way I was playing. Infact I was reliant on Cadman to keep the team together, and in the game, thats how bad I was.

Only in one game, the rest I think I beat you and I think I always killed you at least as many times as you killed me or I killed you more.

Team games were different, Although I still did as well as you or better :p

BTW, I am not even up to 1% of my skill yet. I used to hand Cadman his backside most of the time, and it does not look like he has improved much in my absence. So given a week or 3 and one go through Hard difficulty on SP mode I will be back on top of my perch (just below Zero5)

i hope squinoogle plays again, he was the only one i could kill, ive only played team slayer before so capture the flag was complete WTF for me lol

im up for another game tonight though :)

I thought you did quite wll last night, Although yeah you did go missing a bit in CTF (then proper missing).

But this all comes with practice, I would say with the likes of Alrik and Cadman Skill wise we will all lift our games with practice.
 
I would have probably starting having a go at my team if they were bad, but they did good I never did STFU though ;) saying to do this and that lol. But if you think Krono was bad I heard some of the things he said i will tell you now I get about 10x worse if I keep getting bad teams in matchmaking, but as I said I had no reason to get mad last night since gord and squinoogle did good especially when I got disconnnected twice :/

There was no point me giving instructions WMS was guarding the base. And doing IMO a good job of it. And Cadman has never listened to me once, with regards to.... well anything, come to think of it.

So I just let them get on with it and tried my best to help out where needed.

The number of times I got into the base, grabbed the flag and he wasted be before I could escape :)

Enjoyed the CTF far more than the free for all. Same goes for GRAW. Just the way I like to play, I guess :)
