Exactly ten years ago today I passed my driving test at the tender age of 17.(19/10/1998) Yay! I still remember how over the moon I was and how weird it was to pull away from the house for the first time without anyone in the passenger seat of my Mum's F-Reg Vauxhall Belmont in Flame red/pink

However, having realised this was the case it has suddenly made me feel like I'm getting on a bit.

How old were you when you passed your test and how long have you been driving?

*edit* An after thought - what was the first car that you drove?

I've been driving 13 years (god I feel old too). Passed mine in October 1995 when I was 17. First car I drove on my own was my sister's A reg china blue Vauxhall Nova Saloon.
 
I passed on the 10th November 2004 if I recall correctly. Would have been 18 at the time. Does make me feel old :(

I often describe myself as being "virtually dead" now :p
 
Passed my test on 11/10/91, so that makes it 17 years and 8 days! I took a little while to pass, that was 12 days before my 19th birthday. The first car I drove was my mum's burgundy mk2 Fiesta (which I subsequently bought off her!)
 
Passed mione at 20 (spent to much time drinking and having fun before then) and that was 19 years ago.

First car was THIS without the MG Logo's on side.

Was also a bit older (B) reg - I loved that car.

Only a few year ago for me coming up to two and a half! Passed when I was 17.. (19 now)

I remember pulling out of the drive for the first time with nobody in the passenger seat too!! It was weird but it felt awesome!!

Soon as I hit 21 I don't want to get any older!! :(

Oh and I drove a 95 1.4 8v corsa b
 
I passed 3 years and 8 months ago, when I was 22 (a couple of months before my 23rd). I started out driving a Ford Sierra 1.8 petrol (pinto engine) and aside from one cracking little 1.4 L reg Astra 3 door that I went all over the country in, I've had diesels ever since.

Nearly four years of driving, and I've covered well over 150,000 miles SDP :D
 
Passed when i was 17 (5/6/07) So i havent been driving for long :o

Drove a new Fiesta for my lessons and test, and my car was/is a Mk2 Golf.
