I've seen a girl smile at me (swear she was looking at me), I smiled back. She smiled again. I was still smiling (she was about 7 metres away from me) and then her friend walked by me from behind and they smiled at each other and walked off talking. I stood in the same place, thinking "Wow, I feel like an idiot" then "Did she notice me smiling at her :/?".
 
I have waved at people who have waved in my direction, only to realise its not me they were waving at :o

When I first had a car, me and a mate used to drive around honking the horn and waving at random people, almost everyone waved back :D
 
I remember in the gym i was on a treadmill and going pretty fast. And you know if you look fully left or right, you lose your bearings. Well a pretty fit girl was on the treadmill next to me, so i.....you know....sneaked a look.

Epic fail. i pretty much fell off the treadmill and it threw me back and off it. Probably the most embarrassed i've ever been in my life. I was half laughing and half crying (on the inside of course, i'm a man afterall). Jeez....it gives me shivers just thinking about it now.

EDIT: and it was in the uni gym as well :(
 
I feel your pain Huddy.... Sometime ago I was walking along and a pretty gorgeous looking girl was smiling at me, and walking towards me (or so I though). So I smiled in return, wondering why she was walking towards me. Turned out her boyfriend was grinning back at her from behind me. Oh how red my face went, I don't think she noticed me though :p
 
I was outside work today having a quick fag, when I seen this girl walk past.

Shouted hello, then she shouted it back at me. Awesome.

She came over and I didnt have a clue who she was...and from the looks of it she was in the same position...

Chatted rubbish for a bit and walked off. Made me lol :D

Why would you shout at a complete stranger?
 
Similar embarassing stuff; being short sighted I walk along and think I see people who I recognise/think are my friends so sort of grin and say hi to them only find out that as they get nearer I don't even know them :(
