I have 29 xbox 360 games! Mostly bought brand new and im the guy that rarely plays my xbox, especially as I still havent bothered to gt a live subscription and use my housemates. Its amazing how much money i've wasted and I cant bring myself to sell all but 2 of them as they're the only ones i've got 1000/1000 on! Im usually rubbish at selling on anyway and horde but this makes it even harder when im thinking I havent truly clocked a game.....damn you MS, i need to revise!

I get what you're saying mate, I was like that when i got my Xbox, i got Forza 2 and Gears of Wa and neither of them gripped me. PGR4 is the only game that has gripped me, and i love playing, and now Guitar Hero 3.

You need to choose one you really like, and put time into completing them. Don't do it for the Achievements like some do, i think that is sad in a way.

i started to get like that a bit with PGR3 when i got my 360, but after a bit i got fed up and now i just dont care so much lol. I still get achievements but thats mainly from playing a game to death (e.g. burnout revenge lol). if i need the money or i fancy a new game i'll happily chop it in for somethin.

if i really get the urge to come back to it at some point and whore for achievements then it will be pretty cheap to buy second hand so no problem :)

only 2 games have realy gripped so far. mass effect and oblivion, others i just get bored of to quick, although im still plsying two worlds now ive found some codes to make it run properly.

Totally depends on how you approach games and your play style. I don't play for achievements as much as i did before, but I'd still have a quick nosy through a guide or something to make sure i get them as i play - don't know why I just like that popping sound when your awarded one

Halo 3 has a good set of very well balanced achievements imo - even if the double kill with the spartan laser is neigh on impossible, imo :)

Achievments are there if you want to have them, they sometimes lead you to play a game you might otherwise not, I do enjoy getting them, but im not fastidious about it.

At the end of the day, they mean nothing, but i do think they add something to the 360, that little box popping up with achievement unlocked is one of the best things microsoft did.

You called me a gamerscore whore for playing CSI, and what were you playing today boyo?? :p

is it anygood ? ive seen it about cheap but couldnt decide if i wanted it.

It's alright, would only pay about £10 for it mind ( it was my girlfriends)

The controls are annoying as are the characters but it's quite fun to play and different to the usual games on the 360.

Haha! If you had checked, you would have saw that i got 1000 points for CSI about 2 months ago, i came home from lunch and my daughter was playing it, in fact i chastised her "why are you playing that , ive already got the achievements!" :)

Off topic, but I think this was the first online Halo3 achievement I got - and I got it in my first game I think too! :p

I've been whoring points all christmas, i like the system as it makes me want to complete the game fully. Just played through halo 3 on legendary with a friend on co-op and its a good laugh, wish i did it on co-op in the first place!

Plus you can't complain when you see 250G pop up as i completed it on easy at first for the story line lol :) Even got all the skulls along the way too, a lot of them were challanging for the points.

i hate achievements for the same reason! i have a whole stack of games that i refuse to get rid of until i have got 1000/1000 out of them. Of course, this exludes things like some of the Stupid EA titles where it's not possible to get 1000 unless you are american
