I hate being tall!

I recall a height poll we had a while back, and sure enough, everybody amazingly seemed to be 6ft+.

I remember that and I also remember people saying we were all talking rubbish about our height, jealousy or something I guess.

luckly the company offer the me size 13 shoes that are a little tight but I can still walk in them, shame thats the largest they do my trainers are size 14 and find them somtimes hard to find them in sports shops etc.

While I'm not abnormally tall, I can say for sure that I'm happier being tall than I think I would be being shorter.
Hmmmm well maybe not abnormally, but you are quite tall. Then again compared to me thats not difficult :o Mind you most the guys in our office are reasonably tall, there are only a few short ones!

What I hate about being tall is the fact that I forget that I actually am so tall. That sounds stupid, but I just don't think about it, and I'm so used to standing around people of average height or smaller (I'm 6'3"), that I just sort of subconciously assume I'm the same height. Then I'll see some equally tall bloke walking down the streeet and think "Heh, look at that lanky sod, Oh wait, he's at eye level to me. :("

Buying trousers is always fun too. I'm a skinny sod, so I'll sometimes try and find 30" waists, but 30/34 trousers are damn near impossible to find, so I'll usually have to settle for 32/34 and a belt/low hanging trousers.

What makes me laugh about trouser shopping is the sizes though. I love how they get bigger in both waist and leg until they hit about 34 leg length, and then the waist size continues to grow, but the leg size starts to decrease again. It's like some sort of universal signpost of being a tubby git. If you pass over the magical waist size > leg length barrier, you have officially become a porker. :p
