I hate CityLink

Why dont they deliver on Saturdays! I have to wait till Monday for the rig to arrive :(

Hate to break it to you, but it won't be until Tuesday - unless CityLink deliver on bank holiday Mondays. :p;)

i've had a missed delivery off them today. Someone was in all day god damn it.
Guess tuesday can't come soon enough... :(
 
Hmm is it just an english bank holiday or scottish too? (not necessarily one here at same time as england). Have a couple of things due on monday :(

Their delivery guy didnt know what buzzer to press this morning so didnt bother pressing any and left a card. Luckily i saw him out of the window and went chasing after him or i wouldnt have had an OS to load on this system :p
 
You do realise that if your carded you can go and pick it up at the depot -so giving you your new toys you desire to play with over the bank holiday weekend. Even if you haven't been carded phone them up with your consignment number and ask if it's arrived at the depot, if it has take some ID with you and pick it up.

I've never had bother with CityLink.....does help when your work does the IT Support for the local CityLink Franchise mind you :p

All is not lost! :D

I hate city-link too, they didnt even knock on my door. I saw the van outside, he looked out of his window and drove off. Didnt leave a card or anything. That was a couple of months ago and I dont want to use them again. I now order my bits from elsewhere because of this.
 
I hate City Link, not because they don't deliver on Saturday, but because they don't deliver on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday either.
 
They left my 7950GX2 up the street in sombodys house and didnt leave me a card or anything. So when i rang up the depot they said it was at number 17, but it was at number 23! goodjob it was an honest person they left it with.
 
Just checked via the online tracking of something i have coming via parcelforce and it's estimated to be here on Monday (dont have the tracking number for the stuff coming via citylink yet)... so maybe the courier services do deliver to scotland on english bank holidays :p

Hahah, probably from the same depot as my useless lot.
 
The usual guy for my area knows me and even has my number, has called me a few times and waited 15mins for me once while i was rushing back from the grocery shop to meet him. Everytime they've left it at someone elses house i got a card.

Oh yeah, in my opinion City Link are without a shadow of a doubt, absolutely the worst currier in the UK. I try very hard not to buy anything from companies who use them.
 
I actually like city link. Because i've ordered so much stuff that has being delivered by them, the guy who delivers in my area knows I'm a lazy git and bangs on the door untill it wakes me up :D
