I hate Games for Windows Live

Who is your ISP?? Reason I ask is that BT for sure and many other EU ISP's keep resetting Open Nat status to closed from Open. GFWL needs Open NAT to function properly also on Vista you need to have the following 2 services enabled as Auto & Running as they control port forwarding:

SSDP Discovery Service
UPnP Device Host

GFWL is ultra reliable once setup correctly most issues are related to local user security changes & or config issues.
 
To be fair if his name isn't that (which I'd wager it isn't) then he had it coming choosing a name like that!

Just use something else for GfWL ... I had to add a 0 instead of a O for my name for instance (small changes can work).

I knew a mike hunt, surprising he lived up to the name and tried to punch me out side a pub after a mates 18th (the night before the last day of 6th form all those years ago). To be honest he should have been banned from life, like his now not hot sister
 
Bah, that does seem petty but I guess rules is rules. I'm tempted to change my tag to something equally silly like JustinCider, but I think I'll chose something a little less immature as I don't want to lose my account! :D

After many retries with a tag that was supposedly available, I was still getting that same error... I then tried another tag, and it changed straight away, worked first time. I guess being MS, you've got to persevere a little...
 
i hate it even more.. on gta iv i've had a lot of different mods installed.. save game at 48% 2nd time in going through because of GFWL... :/ and now the 5th patch for gta iv came out and messed up my game again.. :/ my save game is not loading, all mods are not working... :/

If you use mods GTA4 does not work properly thats why it contains detection systems to prevent it by design. If you must use your mods they will not allow you online just do not sign into GFWL and play offline copy your savefile over it should work ok.

well i got so annoyed with it i went with pirates and kicked Microsoft in the arse... now im playing fine with no problems at all and my old save is working.. :rolleyes:
 
i knew of a person could betty swallows and yes it was a real persons name.she was a 76 yr old women who won the national bingo in my area i worked in.
 
They tried to do this with a guy with the surname Woodcock a while back, I think they re-instated him after he complained.
