I hate my xonar d1!

Guys can anyone help me with this problem before i literally just smash this bloody card, its given me nothing but trouble man.

I have a mic plugged into the mic/linein port, and my headphones into the correct port.

In sound options it keeps reverting to line in available.....microphone unavailable.

Repeated replugging eventually gets mic to show as available but constantly changes back and i find self forever reaching around my pc to replug mic and its becoming intolerable.

Any ideas why its doing this?

hmm, try disabling the line-in portion of the port in "sound" on control panel. Im aware this may have been the first thing u tried but its worth mentioning since i couldnt tell if u had
