I hate to ask this but ...

Im sure most people can cope with a week of no xbox in their life too if you ever do have a problem ?

They wouldnt have been the newer design, as these have a 175W PSU, and produce less heat/noise. The first Elites, AFAIK, where essentially the same old design, just with HDMI.


Id say that the 360 is pretty reliable now, that is to say as reliable as consoles are, dvd/br drives seem the weak points on the 360/ps3 now, and are more unreliable then they should be.

Says the man with over 20 days game time on COD4 in the last 11 months :p

The 60 gb is good value for money but I don't think the size is big enough if you plan to install 4 or 5 of your favourite games and DLC.

I know, I already said that, I was just posting my experiences. Thank you captain obvious.

My launch core was also pretty quiet, the fans were quieter than those talsimoon ones I bought which was a bit annoying. Whereas the fans and the drive on my premium were horrendous.

Only one of the 4 Elites were the old version :( In my case, instead of getting the usual 3ROD, my screen went various shades of pink and green and then i lost picture altogether. It was only when i went back to scart from HDMI that i could get a picture again.

So far ive had 1 core, 2 premiums and 1 Elite fail on me. I returned all of them to the shop.
