Flashing will but it can be flashed back, besides Vega has a dual bios anyway so if you mess it up with one there is a recovery one.

Undervolting/overclocking ... nawp fine. just dont mention it.

V64 is not worth it in my opinion, v56 can be undervolted, bios modded and overclocked to be far faster than stock v64 anyway.

Secondly with the money saved with the vega 56 get a sodding SSD for gods sake. You simply cannot be serious using spinning rust as a primary drive in 2018.

Dont waste your time waiting for nvidia, none of there next gen products will be cheep or worth it to begin with.

vega 64 is cheaper - both still have the 3 free games . I think you can undervolt in AMD Wattman . Wouldnt go flashing Bios unless you kno what your doing and have original backed up

at playing at 4k, vega 64 little extra grunt will make the difference over vega 56 - at 1440p/1080p not so much . 4k is very demanding. extra 500 odd stream Processors will help and specially the clocked higher Ram for higher texture fill rate​

Formula is highly recommended on here if budget doesn't allow for Focus , this there's a good jump in price :(
But worth it for 10 yr warranty . The Whisper version PSU is Tier one and roughly same price as tier 1/2 focus
 
Just placed the order and should receive delivery once the MB is available as its not out yet, was going to replace with something else but cant match that deal. Thank you all for the help, especially orbitalwalsh.

No worries , had to order one for lil bro via CCL . Tempted to chuck it in mine and see how it fairs :)
