hi all. i have a total of 1270 pounds to get my self a new pc. im going to get everything piece by piece but i already have the OS and the monitor so i only need to decide on the other stuff. can anybody here give me a list of some sort that shows me the best system i can have with a budget of 1310 pounds.

well id like it to be i7 system with gtx 295 and a hard drive about 500gb would be enough since i will be only using the pc for gaming and some microsoft word stuff :) the rest of the stuff i need to build the system i nearly have no clue about picking them :S help pls!

and what is Noctua NF-P12 Vortex-Control 120mm Quiet Case Fan :D

watercooling too complicated for me :S

well a case with good cooling is what i need. i live in a very hot country.

haf 932 looks nice antec 1200 looks nice lian li armoursuit looks nice...

how can u understand if a mobo supports crossfire or it doesnt?
im going with
the 2x 4890
noctua as the cpu cooler.
i7 is for sure.
western digital caviar black 500gb
corsair hx 750W(or 850 not sure)
thats ok right?

well i live in cyprus and in summer it gets up to 50 degrees very very rarely. but the thing is i wont be using the computer in the summer since i go holiday. but i can say its still hot...

i can spend up to 1270 and i intend to get the best out of my 1270.

i already have anything else that i would need.

also which 1 is better?

-gtx 295

wow thats good

id like something with about atleast 3 yrs of warranty anyway so that looks good but not sure between ATI or Nvidia

ATI seems much faster but many people suggest nvidia i dont know what to do :S

well the thing is i cant find how many years the warranty for the powercolor 4890 which is 130 pounds. the next cheapest one which is powercolor again is 145 and is only a 1 year warranty. the ones with actually 2 years or 3 years warranty comes to same price as the BFG gtx 275.

also ANY 4890 and ANY gtx 275 card would do right? i mean there are gtx 275 cards that are more pricey than the bfg one. and there are more pricey 4890's than the powercolor (130 pound version). what is the main difference between the cards that causes them to be more expensive/cheaper.

the specs show a little improvement but i was tempted more when i saw the asus 4890 that had fans. does the fans on that actually show a good improvement on the cooling?

as i stated before cooling is very very very important for me since i live in a hot country. even though im not going to be using it in the summer.
