we had a n66u [the model down] transmitting from one side of OcUK to the other side of the car park with useable signal. so about the length of a football pitch. only warehouse walls to pass through though so it would probably be worse in a brick building. still mental range and speed though.

Not that i need to.... but that would be a nice upgrade from my WNDR3700...... :o
 
Ohh thats some fast as hell wireless. When will we see cards/laptops taking that up?

Also read an article today about 60Ghz band wifi coming out offering speeds up to 7gigabit...wireless... madness... makes ethernet seem sluggish.
