So I'm having trouble with my controller, when it works, it works but it doesn't seem to want to power on when I want it to power on.
There's nothing wrong with the cable or the USB ports I've tested them to make sure they're providing enough voltage.
There's no short on the controller as I've taken it apart and it's definitely getting power coming in from the port, all components still in place and solder looks fine. Vibration motors working fine and +/- aren't touching to cause a short there, resistors are all working fine
So I have no clue why it's seemingly trolling me by turning on when I shut down steam, or when I'm taking it apart or sometimes when I switch USB port, if it was an issue components surely it wouldn't work at all than 100% of the time when it decides it wants to work ?
Could the IC on it be broken ? It could be the caps but they aren't inflated and they're reading correct farads so I doubt it, maybe a fault on the PCB itself but that fault should be all the time and not intermittent
It's really annoying
