Should I plant it and if I should, will it get me free nectarines or just a spindly twig plant like what happened to my apple seeds?

Meanwhile, at OP's house...

That's because you're morons and can't tell the difference between a rock and a living organism.

I thought yanks use stones rather than Metric measures? You seem all messed up judging by your sig. Shouldn't it read IMPERIAL or something?

Oh lord so much wrong here... Firstly a true Brit would defend our traditional Imperial measures (Metric is French!) and secondly the sig concerns the very good band; Metric.

Honestly.

Anyways I've killed every plant I've tried to grow, so good luck!

Imperial measurements suck.

No we don't, we call them pips :D

Nope it's a stone or Pit

More specifically, "stone fruit" refers to members of the genus Prunus, which includes plums, cherries, mangos, peaches, apricots and almonds. It is traditionally placed within the rose family Rosaceae as a subfamily, the Prunoideae (or Amygdaloideae), but sometimes placed in its own family, the Prunaceae (or Amygdalaceae).

Nectarines are just smooth peaches

Pips are seeds like in oranges or apples ;)
