Do I watch series 9 (Back to Earth) of Red Dwarf, or do I skip the pile of poo and jump straight to series 10?

I've been watching the whole lot again from the start and having suffered series 8 I'm not sure I could take Coronation Street references. Shall I pretend it never existed and jump to series 10?

I've seen them all before. I just figure seeing series 9 once is already once too many!

Is there no love for series 10 in here then? I thought it was right back on form, along the lines of the early series. I'd be quite happy for then to make more if they continue like that.

Series 1-2 were superb. up there with the very best!
Series 3 was very good
Series 4 was good
Series 5 was pretty good, but by now Red Dwarf had descended into slapstick sillyness
Series 6 had some good moments
Everything beyond sucked balls :/

I enjoyed up to season 7
8 was also ok
9 - I attempted to remove the number 9 from existance after that series
10 - they took a step back in the right direction with this on, actually watchable.

I have met most of the cast too ^_^
