I've got the intel 40gb x25-v ssd. The only things installed on there are windows 7 and drivers. I don't think I've got the latest drivers for the drive, I've just installed the ones off the disc.

I wonder what I should do to optimise it? Performance is good. Windows boots up in under a minute. In fact, it might even be under 30s, but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure what controller the drive is running off, but I've connected it to a 3gb/s sata on my Asus P6X58D-E.

I came across this TweakTwon guide:

http://www.tweaktown.com/guides/3116/tweaktown_s_solid_state_drive_optimization_guide/index.html

Is it any good? It recommends an SSD Tweak Utility and to enable 'God Mode' in Windows 7.

I'm considering getting a revodrive in the future as well and I'm just wondering how easy it will be to transfer windows files from this drive to that one?

Thanks
