Another vote for the 8800 GT, can handle AA, wont need a power plant to run it, doesn't sound like a ******* boeing 747 taking off, and won't give out as much heat, and it'll be faster, or wait for the much faster 640mb GTS thats coming with 112 streams.

Depends how long its taking coming, if its end of Oct get the 8800, if its late Nov get 2900pro.

I got a 640mb 8800Gts for £200 in the end... BfG so the life time warrenty will hold some ov the value wen i upgrade. Thanx very much for the advice am happy i didnt choose a lower model now.. make full use of the monitor !

My old Voodoo card worked before I chucked it in the bin, so "lifetime warranty" is a bit pointless, by the time it packs up it has no value. Usually if it's going to fail it'll do so in the first 12 months.

had my 6600GT fail in the first month, then the replacement failed just after the 12 month warranty period! No overclocking and my PC has uber air flow. Just BGA reflow process fault that XFX were suffering. It forced me to have to buy a new Gfx card at a time I didn't want to, so I'd say any company offering a slightly better warraty would be an incentive to me. My next card I bought was BFG.
