I have given up trying to find the best monitor for me, its actually driven me mad. Advantages here, disadvantages there..BLEH!

Guess ill stick with my boring LG E2250V 22

You have to stop looking for a perfect screen. Set a budget, then buy the screen in your price range which has the cons you can live with the most (and the pros you want the most).

Sadly, all panel types have weaknesses atm.

Aye, you need to narrow down what youre looking for.
You want it for Gaming or Photo/Video work?
Are you interested in 3D?
What's your budget?
What kind of size are you looking to get?
Do you like glossy or matte screens?
Will you be running DP (Display Port) or DVI connection?

Once you've answered that lot you will find you've narrowed down the list to a little bit of a more manageable size :)

- Mainly gaming
- dont care about 3D
- 23"+
- Quite like glossy screens, but not so glossy it will reflect everything, wouldnt mind glass either
- no DP on my GFX card. So would have to be DVI/HDMI

Now here come the issues.

Samsung 750D - Close to buying, but found out I cant reach 120hz without using DP...

Samsung 950D - Bit too pricey and no 2560 x 1440 res ? whats that all about...

Hazro HZ27WC glass - but when i realised my gfx card (480gtx SE) prob wont let me run latest titles on max with that big of a screen without a big frame rate loss (480gtx SE) I decided against it

put me out of my misery and kill me now! :(

Pretty much same situation. Bar gtx 285 rather than 480gtx, but i might upgrade in the forseeable future to a 580xx.

max 350~ quid.

So you don't want a Samsung 950D because it isn't 2560x1440 resolution and you don't want a Hazro HZ27WC glass because it is 2560x1440 resolution.

Nope the justification of not atleast having that res at that price put me off the 950D.

You may be surprised how well 1920x1080 scales on the 27 Hazro - at least with my ATI card anyway. Looks pretty nice and some games will run at 2560 anyway.
