I have recently obtained a processor and would like to build around it, fancy giving me a hand?

My friend has upgraded his processor and gave me his old one:

AMD Bulldozer FX-6100 Socket AM3+ 6 Core Processor - 3.30GHz, 3.90GHz Turbo

I am looking to spend around £600 (give or take £50) and a computer that can comfortably run games. I have no problem assembling it, but I want to make sure I don't bottle neck myself with any of the components and I've heard good things about this forum.

If you would recommend paying more than my budget please just let me know as hardware isn't exactly my speciality.

that processor will be the bottleneck you're trying to avoid

Could you elaborate? Sorry, just from my understanding its a decent processor. Does it contradict my price range?

Haha don't I look foolish. I'm going to reconsider my options in that case and I'll get back to you guys once I have a better idea of my situation. Thanks for the information though, much appreciated.
