I have this system! but it appears to be running hot?

1 x Arctic Power 700W PSU - With PCI-E, 4x SATA,
1 x Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm
1 x AMD Phenom 9850 Black Edition Socket AM2+ 2.5GHz
1 x Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Soundcard
1 x Xion Stacker Black Full Tower Case
1 x PowerColor HD 3870X2 1GB Quad Display 3xDVI 1xHDMI TV Out PCI-E Graphics Card
Can anyone recommend any upgrades to improve cooling as it idles at about 48! Any help appreciated..........

How old is the system? Might be dust in the fans and things?

What temps you getting?

Just looking at that quickly Id speculate its your GFX giving out a lot of heat

cpu idleing about 48 loaded 58+ish? MB and ambient all seem cushty at around 28 ish?

I wouldnt worry about it tbh, your load temps are fine and theyre whats important

i just thought with my behemoth heat sink it would be cooler! maybe not?

The scythes are very good at keeping system quiet, there are better out there for cooling at the expense of sound, but as i say 58 is fine, what I get under load (IBT) so I wouldnt worry
