...PSPGo!

Everybody can shout at me if they want to but it's such a lovely little thing. :)

I was going to take photos of the unboxing but I just couldn't wait to rip it open and get some games for it. I've got the old PSP1000 so I'm just waiting for my Go to update its self and then when I connect them both to my account I should get the 3 free game voucher. I just missed out on the Gran Turismo free promo but it's worth buying it anyway so I don't mind that much.

It fits in the hand really well and the buttons are all easily accessible. The analogue nub seems alright to use and isn't as awkward as it looks in the pictures. It's incredibly light, the screen is a huuuuge improvement on my old 1000 so on the whole I'm really happy.

Nice little toy for me to play with when I'm not on FIFA or in lectures. :D

Seeing as you couldn't be bothered to put this in the PSP GO! thread, you owe us some pictures :) I don't think anyone posted any pictures in the other thread, so you may as well take a few snaps.

if your happy thats all that matters. Personally i think they are very overpriced. But if you had the spare cash then whats to quibble about?

go on get some pics up to rub it in our poor faces :D

Hah, well I was scared I'd get a bashing for buying one as the majority here have shown dislike for the idea of it so it's nice to see a few friendly comments. Ill get some pics up in a mo :)

As for the screen, its smaller, but it still uses the same resolution as the PSP 3000 so you get the same level of detail just on a smaller screen. For me that's a plus point because I always thought a few of my UMD games looked a little stretched and pixellated.

Pics soon to follow. :)

EDIT: These aren't the best pictures, unfortunately I only have a camera phone and my skills are not the greatest, but hopefully you can see that it looks quite slick. :)

Why thank you. :D

I'm just downloading a few psone classics. My only gripe really is that so far there is no background downloading. I'd love to watch a movie or play a game while I'm waiting for the download, but hey, you can't have it all I guess. :)

I just bought a psp 3000 this weekend.. the reason for me not to get the psp go was the prices of the games on the store compared to the umd prices and also you can't trade your games !!!!

The 3rd photo of the PSPgo really makes the screen look very good but then then the picture someone posted after that with the PSPGO next to the old PSP makes me prefer the bigger screen on the old PSP. I suppose it's the same with any screen, even PC monitors. There's a lot to be said about picture quality but there is little consolation for size.
