Good deal?
1 x SP2514N Samsung 250gb 7200rpm
1 x ST316002A Seagate Barracuda 7200 160gb
1 x SP1203N Samsung 120gb 7200rpm

IDE, PATA 133
Paid £21 for them with £5 delivery at auction, and I'm beginning to regret it.
Have I done the right thing?

Depends on what they're going to be used for, but IIRC the maximum transfer speed of IDE and PATA is around 66MBps.

EDIT:
Maximum transfer speed is 133MBps (I've just looked it up now). I wonder why it has the 133 in it... :p?

I panic bought them!
But I'll probs knock some system up, put them in and sell it.
I also have an Acer with a 160GB Sata so I'll take it out, put the 160GB IDE in and not mention it when selling.

You can get PATA to SATA adapters so uit's quite easy to use them even if you don't have an IDE port on your motherboard. But thatnls for the heads up on your honesty as I'll never buy anything from you when you get access o the mm on this forum.
