I JUST CAN'T GET CS:S OR TF2 TO WORK :/

A friend of mine had a similar issue with TF2, he just uninstalled it from within Steam and re-downloaded the whole thing, which fixed it for him. If you don't have any luck with this I'd probably throw an email Valve's way or post on their forums.
 
After e downnloading, CSS didn't work.

Accidentaly launched it in tridef and it worked!!!

However, this was with my GTX 580 - not 570 SLI :(
TF2 downloading now
