I just got flashed by a speed cam!!

will anything happen? i was driving a company van home and yeah i got flashed. i wasnt supposed to be driving it outside of work but yeah i do anyway :D will anything happen? ive only just started driving anyway and i dont want any points! this job is ending in a few weeks anyway but is anything liekly to happen?
 
The company will probably get hit with a fine, and will then start asking questions about who was driving the vehicle and why.
 
Registered keeper (company) of vehicle will be sent a form by local plod to identify driver. You will get the points and most likely have to pay the fine. It is also some companies policy to discipline staff further - especially as you drove it when you weren't supposed to be.
 
Expect helicopter gunships overhead and heavily armed men in body armour to come a knocking at your door sometime in the next three days!

You got caught!

TBH, you deserve anything that comes your way. Youve admitted guilt, I dont really see how you expect anything less than the fine or training option, with the posibility of anrgy boss or lost job.

is there any chance nothing will happen? i wasnt going THAT fast, i could just say it was an emergency or something..i saw it flashing and i slowed right down but then it flashed.:o

unless your company vechicle is red, blue and white, or yellow and white with flashing lights and siren, that excuse will get you nowhere.

you were obvioudly going faster than the law allows, the camera doesnt flash at people driving under the limit!

You broke the law! face the consiquences!

I really struggle to understand people who try to fight things like this!
 
if your job is ending why you so bothered? my boss doesn't care everyone apart from me has points, i did have a scare once some temporaries on the A1 50 mph i was doing about 60 but nout came through:D being taking it steady since even sticking to 80 ish tops on the motorway.
 
well this job is only going for 2 more weeks...i might get lucky and be gone before anything comes up :D

3 points dont effect insurance do they?

Oh, then dont worry!

Because the company you work for wont have your name or address on file or anything, they wont be able to pass this information onto the authoroties to send a speeding ticket straight to you....

the only involvement your company will have will be to provide the name of the driver. the speeding ticket is against you, not them.

And yes, 3 points will affect you for 5 years on insurance!
