will anything happen? i was driving a company van home and yeah i got flashed. i wasnt supposed to be driving it outside of work but yeah i do anyway :D will anything happen? ive only just started driving anyway and i dont want any points! this job is ending in a few weeks anyway but is anything liekly to happen?

is there any chance nothing will happen? i wasnt going THAT fast, i could just say it was an emergency or something..i saw it flashing and i slowed right down but then it flashed.:o

well this job is only going for 2 more weeks...i might get lucky and be gone before anything comes up :D

3 points dont effect insurance do they?

Does their insurance cover you? If not I can't help but laugh.

They will get a letter, they will tell the police who it was, you will get the points. If you weren't insured (since you took it without permission) you may also get done for driving without insurance. Bye bye licence.

it covers me if i drive while working. but i will just say i was driving it home after work which will be ok. if it doesnt cover me then i have my own insurance anyway.

well nothing happened so looks like i got away with it and my license remains clean :):D

but yesterday i reversed into a car...i had loads of room and i knew the car was there but i wanted to see what a sign said and forgot about the car.. he came out straight away as well as i was driving away. theres a small crack just above the bumper. he was ok about it but reckons its gonna cost about £450 as they will probably replace the bumper, prime and spray and fit..

my supervisor was ok about it, im on there insurance so they will pay this time. his car was a r reg mazda 323 lx btw.

this wont effect my own insurance in any way will it?

Are you sure you should be driving?

yeah i can drive. i blame the van..there aint a rear window and i dont really pay as much attention as i would if it was my car.

i didnt really drive off, i just moved up the road. then i called my mate told him what happened and he said to get the hell out of there but i was like all calm and stuff and then the guy came running up..:o

p.s. i hate these granny drivers who like to go 30 or less in a 40...

Sorry but yes it will. You should notify them of any accidents otherwise your insurance is void (if they find out). And when you apply for new insurance what do you plan on answering to "have you had any accidents in the last x years?"

mate dont be stupid. do u think im gonna tell them? of course im gonna answer no to any of that crap.

i wont drive uninsured. all im saying is i spoke to a few guys who said i dont need to mention it and even my supervisor said it wont have any effect on my own insurance as its just through them. i guess i will find out tomorrow when i have to sort the forms out.

sounds like you are a complete tool behind the wheel of a vehicle. Somebody who has any driving skill at all doesn't stall their car every 5 mins, and as for hitting a car you knew was there tbh this sounds like a prime case of driving without due care and attention.

trust me my drivng skills are amazing:D you didnt see this pug i had, i sold it straight away pretty much. i agree with you on the other thing though, i wasnt paying much attention but obviously something like that aint gonna happen again.

How old are you?
I hope you don't stray anywhere up north, well it would be nice if you didn't enter a vehicle at all, but we can't have it all our own way...

21. tho ive been driving since i was 17. i curbed my mates car at 18 and had to pay him 300 quid.i was hung over and driving without insurance and license but i wanted to get home, this was like 1am so it was quiet :D funny now but i was depressed for like a month at the time.

never been to Liverpool and never will unless theres like a crucial match between southend and liverpool at some point and even then i probably wont bother.

They will look up your previous insurance history without a shadow of a doubt if you have another accident, if you dont have another accident whats the point of having insurance at all :p youve had one already, chances are everyone is going to have at least a handful of bumps or scrapes in their lifetime.

but what im saying is it will be linked to another insurer so how will they know? also the agency im with aint even seen my driving license details..but i guess im gonna have to put all that in the forms i fill in tomorrow? im with direct line and im thinking about the no claims and if i havent claimed through them it aint gonna make a difference is it?

not 100% on this but i thought any claim on any policy meant you lost your no claims? (someone correct me if im wrong), as for taking licence details all they needed is the date obtained etc, if they didnt take any of that I would be a bit worried as it probably means you were not insured?

well i aint worried thats there problem. my agency asked me to send the details when i started but i didnt bother and they havent asked since. so neither my agency or my company knows i can drive.
