This was posted on the page of faces. I'm a legit believer in Darwin Awards but come on, this is making things a bit easy isn't it?

This acquaintance asked me to like his page as he's building a "rat rod pickup". The car in question is a Mondeo or something. I honestly don't know what to say :confused:

Adidas product placement there sure they will be happy about it hahahaha " Adidas, for the simple minded "

is that the roof, as to be fair to him it will be supported either side of the cut so aint gonna collapse on him

Urgh every time I look at that picture I spot a new health and safety disaster waiting to happen :S

No guard on the grinder.
Inappropriate footwear.
Danger of cutting through the power cable.
No gloves.
No fire extinguisher visible.
No eye protection.
Standing on the thing he's cutting lol.
Is that a corrugated asbestos cement roof?

How'd I do? lol

What an idiot, even without every other issue the one thing that makes me cringe is the lack of eye-protection. The amount of times I see people using tools without eye protection. Always the same dumb answers when you ask, either that or they try and call you soft or a wimp for using eye protection when they don't. Usually the knuckle dragging dragging types, go's down a treat when I've said "you can't grow a muscle in your eye to stop something ripping it apart you ******* idiot".

Ive seen idiots using grinders on plastic before without eye protection only to need to go to A&E in absolute terror with a chunk of plastic embedded under there eyelid all because they wanted to be the " cool guy " That said health and safety used to be called common sense.

I must admit I used to be one of them idiots till I ended up with a tiny piece o concrete in my eye. It was no bigger than a grain of sand but managed to penetrate my eye and ended up hanging by a thread to the inside of my eyeball. I was a very lucky boy considering I waited two weeks to go. A + E because I didn't want to mess them around.

* No dust mask
* Hoody could fall over his eyes, obscuring vision
* Mini hacksaw lying around, just waiting to be trodden on or tangled in the power cord
* Long sleeves and baggy trousers near an electric tool with a rapidly rotating head
* Poor grip on tool
* He is a tool

Pfft he hasn't even bothered to make it all safe by turning his head away a little and squint his eyes

I'd laugh as the disc exploded in his face (£5 on it not being a proper cutting disc anyway) if my taxes weren't going to be used for patching up this numpty and/or paying him to sit at home on disability bennies after he blinds himself.
