I know you said you wanted something with class, but I'm going to do a Fox and pimp a Mondeo.

Have you thought about something like this...

Offers great value for money for what you get.

Yes they do offer great value for money, but only when they are a few years old and depreciation has hit them.

They are very good cars but compared to a tidy 2-3year old 3/5 series or A4/A6 they are in a different, lower league.

Yep and for that reason i don't think we are going to bother.

Fox, whats the running costs like on a 330D compared to the 320D?

Marginal, fuel tanks are obviously the same size, Diesel costs the same, the only thing is that the 320d CAN achieve 55mpg with very stringent driving, but is more real at about 48-50mpg combined. The 330d will see between 38 and 44mpg combined, but the 320d comes no where near close to matching the perfomrance of the 330d.

Not much in it then, 44mpg sounds great does the 330d come with any extra kit over the 320d?

Depends what spec it is. There will be more 330d Sports than 320d Sports, so if the 330d is a Sport and the 320d is an SE, then yes.

It's mostly costmetic though, like the 18" alloys/good looking bumpers/skirts. Will be more likely to come with leather too.

Am I the only one who thinks the model of A4 just replaced looks better than the current model?

In standard guise, I think the newer one looks better. But in sports trim I prefer the older one.
