You know the kind of car. Hugely powerful, bloody quick, yet doesn't advertise the fact too loudly. Just one little badge.

The rest of the body....

426ci HEMI, aluminium heads, factory 2x4 manifold with a pair of 600CFM Edelbrocks. 727 TorqueFlight 'box, Dana 60 LSD with 3.73:1 gears and Strange Engineering axles. Want one.

Always with the chargers.....
One day you'll realise, 'cuda > charger, and you can still have your hemi :)

does look kinda nice though.

Prefer the Challenger to the 'Cuda to be honest. Challenger + 340 small block + six pack carbs = win.

OK, so it has all that work done so it must be pushing out 120-130bhp as it's American ;)

nah, seriously what sort of power would one of them be pushing out?

Bog stock 426 Hemi was rated from the factory for 425 horsies.....which was a bare-faced lie designed to throw off the insurance companies :) In reality, 450-460 would be about right for the standard motor. As for what this one is sending to the tarmac....no idea, but I'd be willing to bet it's a few more than stock. The magazine that featured it a while back reckoned on 500 horsies, but I haven't seen a dyno plot for it.

***edit***

Oh, and it'll be doing that on 95RON rather than anything remotely exotic on the fuel front.

I was struggling to find a Challenger that was as understated as the yellow Charger....but then I remembered this one:

Again, one little badge....

If I remember right, it's a 528ci 'King Kong' Hemi. Horrendously powerful :)
