I don't get many parking tickets but when I do, the good folk at pepipoo always see me right. I initially made an informal challenge which was refused but I was still able to pay the 50% reduced fine if I wanted. Pepipoo said they're confident I'll win and recommended I wait 28 days for the 'Notice to Owner' and then make a formal representation. If I lost that I'd have to pay the full amount.

For the formal representation, one of the members composed a really lengthy draft for me that was so detailed it was enough to bamboozle even the most legally knowledgeable monkeys at barnet parking services. It worked! Don't you love it when you get a good result. :)

Nice, Im waiting for a reply too after receiving a Notice to Keeper for a Parking Charge Notice on private land and then sending off a letter of appeal with evidence. Hopefully i'll get the same result as you soon.

So you park illegally then celebrate when you get off, way to be proud.

I'm sorry, I can't take the reply of anyone seriously that buys tickets for Depeche Mode. DEPECHE MODE, lol.

But to reply properly, I parked somewhere a few feet from my house, where part of my car was in front of a dropped kerb used by a business there. A single business surrounded by homes. While technically I shouldn't have, I've never had a problem in 30 years, nor have other residents. I got a letter from the business owner confirming he had agreed it was ok and caused no problems. But the biggest winner was that the PCN had omitted important wording that didn't correctly cite what the contravention is thus rendering it not legally enforceable.

Now, I hope you've put a nice soft cushion on the ground to soften any possible fall from that horse you're sitting on. :)

They really are brilliant on that site. I have had a few tickets struck off thanks to them. Always helpful with the advice.

Barnet Council are a law to themselves. had a issue with them when a car which was same model but different colour had cloned my plates.

After sending photos of my car which was clearly different and a crime number they still put the onus on me to prove it.

I was fortunate enough to get a local police Sargeant to write me a letter stating it was obvious it wasnt my car and to back off

Your appeal will go straight in the bin, they won't even likely read it.
