Hi all i,m puzzled ! I have a P.C with a Nvidia ( 3d enabled ) GT 240 card installed ,but am wondering would a Samsung S23A700D 3D monitor work with the Nvidia card or do i need a Nvidia compatable monitor ? any help thanks

There is a list of all compatible things here, from monitors, to gpu's :)

(Quick reference):

It does say 3d is not recommended for gaming with that GPU, but it is fine for everything else.

Ok yeah i understand so would it be okay for 3d films ?

Yes. The Samsung solution uses a '3D HyperReal' engine which can be used to convert 2D films into 3D on-the-fly and will provide the full 3D effect on Blu Ray 3D films with appropriate software (Power DVD 11 for example). This works on Nvidia and AMD setups in the same way.

Thanks PCM2 ..so the Samsung 3D HyperReal monitor will work fine with a Nvidia & AMD Graphics card ? so no need for the Nvidia 3D Vision Glasses as Samsung use there own design .
