I may actually switch...

I switched, but I may go back again :o

Safari is like lightning for me anyway..

I use both. 80% of my time is in Safari as it is so fast. Some sites are better viewed in FF however and FF3 is shaping up quiet well.

Oh and Clear Private Data on Exit is far better than Private Browsing for porno. You don't have to remember to turn in on! :) :o

just been playing with new firefox 3 versions... anyone else notice the fonts are a bit funny looking on these forums for example? In osx preferences I have font-smoothing set to medium (for flat panel). All settings within firefox are as they were by default. Some sites including this forum appear to have bigger/bolder fonts instead of the usual finer fonts that safari/camino/opera show. All settings are default in all my browsers. The only settings changed are the ones I mentioned about osx preferences. Apart from this I really like the new FF a lot but at the end of the day a browser is a browser.

Yep got the same problem using FF3 myself, it's like reading my first forums with it :p

I read somewhere about FF not overriding default anti aliasing options but I changed the setting and it didn't make any difference. Forums don't look good at all in it. Looks like size 18 verdana or something!

Mine used to be like this, but it changed a few weeks ago and now looks absolutely fine and dandy. I did nothing to cause this change, just one day I fired up the system and it had changed

Mines done the exact same thing today, forums look nice and neat again without the fonts being oversized

Those who lack the the cool factor, have a bold font.

It's true, Steve Jobs told me last night ;)
